Meet Laura
I’m Laura and I believe there is a stone for every person. My work is inspired by the rich colours and sweeping landscapes of New Mexico, combined with the elegance and indulgence of the English countryside. From my studio in the South Downs, I work with one of a kind gemstones that offer a world of colour; from deep dark blue Lapis Lazuli with intricate specs of pyrite glitter, to the Larimar sea blue swirls of the Dominican Republic and, of course, my first love: the rich range of turquoise.

I adore working with turquoise in the most extraordinary blues and greens that you could ever imagine; picture perfect and wonderfully unique. I am enamoured by the complexity and variety of turquoise. From pure stones free from ‘imperfections’ to those bursting with pyrite (those silver and gold flecks across the stone) and intricate matrix line patterns.
